Roland Hill

Chief Financial Officer

Roland is Castel’s Chief Financial officer and his responsibilities include all financial reporting, business planning and treasury for Castel and its cells.

Roland qualified as a chartered accountant with Littlejohn Frazer (now PKF Littlejohn) before moving into the insurance industry. In 2012, he joined the Barbican Insurance Group as the Group’s financial controller before taking up the role of Finance Director for Castel and Barbican’s other intermediary companies in 2014. In 2016 Roland joined Castel’s board of directors.

Outside of work Roland enjoys running, cycling and following Welsh rugby.

Tom Steiblet

Financial Controller

Tom began his career in 2007 with Littlejohn (now PKF Littlejohn) in Canary Wharf working on a wide range of clients including Lloyd’s syndicates and insurance brokers.

He achieved his ACA qualification in December 2009 and subsequently joined Barbican Insurance Group in April 2013 as Group Accountant.

At Castel, Tom controls the MGA’s finance function.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys playing squash, following Arsenal and travelling.

Hannah Griffiths

Finance Manager

Hannah started her career in insurance in 2013 after completing a degree in Geography with European Study at the University of Exeter. She joined the Barbican Insurance Group as a Group Accounts Assistant, achieving her CIMA qualification and working her way up to Financial Accountant in 2017.

She joined Castel in October 2019 as Finance Manager.

Outside of work Hannah enjoys running and playing netball.

Rebecca Ollington

Financial Accountant

Rebecca spent the majority of her career at Charles Taylor Ltd (formerly plc). During her 12 years there, she worked across various departments with the aim of moving into finance. In 2016 she became Accounts Assistant & ended her career at the company in 2021 as a manager within the department.

Rebecca joined Castel in December 2021 as Financial Accountant.

Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys taking Spanish lessons and spending time with her two young nephews.
